The caring, board certified and fellowship trained doctors of FMI are dedicated to treating joint, muscle and bone pain anywhere it strikes. Even though we are a team of renowned surgeons, the majority of our treatments don't involve surgery. When surgery is warranted, it's good to know that we perform the latest proven procedures such as total joint replacement including the anterior approach hip, joint repair and modification, arthroscopy and many more. FMI's orthopaedic surgeons are among the few designated to perform total joint replacement surgeries at The Villages Regional Hospital. It feels good to know that you're in the qualified hands of a local doctor with local affiliations.
Whether your condition is new or chronic, FMI utilizes safe, proven treatments - never questionable trends - to help you overcome pain and get back to a healthier, happier life.

What kind of a Dr office is this??????
Do not go there unless you like to be belittled and have no plans for the day
After speaking with Carol over the phone today at Dr. Ollivierre office I would like to clarify that Dr. Ollivierre is a very nice and knowledgeable Dr.
The negative review was a misunderstanding between 2 people.
I do apologize and DO recommend Dr. Ollivierre.

I was referred her after my motorcycle accident, this being my first and only accident. I wouldn't recommend from office staff or their department as a whole. I was asking questions and most of the answers were "oh it'll be fine." I asked about billing and never got a straight answer, I asked about other options and most of them advised "don't get on another bike!" I had to self-refer myself to another place of treatment who advised otherwise and gave me clear and understood instructions on what to expect on this journey to better health.

Would never go back and can’t recommend the MD that treated me. MD cmt to me and my wife about my MRI on my leg: leaking fluid from a Baker’s cyst is the cause of my leg and knee pain; fluid source is a inflamed bursa; no meniscus injury; resume normal activities after 24 hrs from the time of the cortisone shot I received. Couple of days later I am in ER from a fall. My knee popped with great pain sending me to the floor. The MD diagnoses was from a Lake Medical Imaging radiologist report he was reading from while in the exam room. After ER experience I got a 2nd opinion on my leg from a different orthopedic practice. The 2nd opinion MD from the different practice reviewed the MRI and show me a meniscus tear and set me up for surgery. I subsequently asked Lake Medical Imaging for a second review of my MRI. Oops, the second review of the MRI showed a meniscus tear. The second review of the MRI was sent to the MD at the Institute. No response to the follow up report has been made by the Institute’s MD. Pain and major life inconvenience has been the result. Not sure the fall cause additional leg damage. Just missed my heading hitting the wood corner of my bedroom from my fall.
