Dr. Weglein graduated Summa Cum-Laude from UT Arlington and earned his D.O. from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic (South Pointe) and later served as its Assistant Program Director. He is Board Certified in Sports Medicine, certified in PRP & Prolotherapy, registered in Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound, and board certified in Medical Acupuncture — the only physician in central Houston holding this Triple Board Certification. He is the founder of The Musculoskeletal Clinic of Houston and holds faculty professorships at three medical schools.
