She is the founder of the Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine, specializing in chronic diseases such as cancer, Lyme disease, and integrative/functional medicine. She is board-certified in Medical Acupuncture and has completed post-residency training in Clinical Metal Toxicology, Environmental Medicine, and Functional Medicine.

Dr. Swerdfeger serves as the consulting hypnotist and patient liaison at the Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine. He facilitates support groups for patients with chronic illness and received his training in Hypnosis and Guided Imagery at the Edgar Cayce Association of Research & Enlightenment.
