He received his MD from the Medical College of Georgia, completed residency at the University of Florida, and a fellowship at the Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic, where he worked with the LA Lakers, Dodgers, and LA Rams. Board-certified sports medicine physician focused on non-operative treatments including orthobiologics and ultrasound-guided injections. He earned his undergraduate degree and MD from Wake Forest University, completed emergency medicine residency at the University of Maryland/R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, and a sports medicine fellowship at Duke University where he served as Team Physician for Duke Athletics. He has served on the USA Ski and Snowboard Team's medical staff.

Licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer with over 36 years of experience. Holds degrees from Miami University, UNC Chapel Hill, and MUSC, and served as athletic trainer for the U.S. Soccer Women's World Cup team from 1990–1996. She has also provided sideline coverage for high school football and has served as an adjunct professor at Charleston Southern University and the College of Charleston.
