Chen Wei-Cheng, PhD

Lab Director

Dr. Chen holds a doctorate in Bioinformatics and Structural Biology from National Tsing Hua University. He served as a laboratory leader at a health management company in 2016 conducting immune cell therapy research, and now serves as Lab Director of Invitrx Therapeutics, overseeing production and mentoring lab technicians in the Asia Division.

Founder, Chairman and CEO

Mr. Torfi founded Invitrx Therapeutics in 2003 and is a pioneer in Regenerative Stem Cell Medicine. He directed the Laboratory of Regenerative Bioengineering and Repair for the Department of Surgery at UCLA (1998–2001) and previously served as director of the Epithelial Autograft Facility at UC Davis Medical Center. He holds a degree in Microbiology and a graduate degree in Human Genetics, and has published numerous papers and holds several patents in stem cell and bioengineering.

Marco Zahedi, M.D., M.P.H.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Zahedi graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University in Biochemistry and Medical Physiology, completed his M.D. at Chicago Medical School with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, and his residency at USC Huntington Memorial Hospital with a focus in Dermatology. He later earned an M.P.H. from USC Keck School of Medicine and is medical director for the Ageless Life Institute and My IV Therapy.

Ranjan Gupta, M.D.

Medical Advisor / Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Gupta is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Anatomy & Neurobiology, and Biomedical Engineering and Chief of Shoulder Surgery at UC Irvine School of Medicine. He completed his M.D. at Albany Medical College, residency and NIH Post Doctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, and fellowship training in hand surgery/microsurgery at UCLA. He served as UC Irvine Department of Orthopedic Surgery Chairman from 2006 to 2015.
